Valentine’s Day is just a few days away and we have prepared a very special menu for our guests. We are offering a four course dinner for two that includes two appetizers, a shared salad, chateaubriand for two, a shareable dessert, and a champagne toast. We will also have a limited dinner menu available. My personal favorite on our Valentine’s Menu is our home-made Short Rib Ravioli. We are braising the short rib, hand-making the pasta, and rolling the raviolis. Also exciting is our “District Dome” that will be debuting on Valentine’s Day. This Dessert consists of a wonderful chocolate cake and our home-made raspberry ice-cream. Once delivered to your table, we will then pour over hot raspberry sauce, making the dome melt to open up for you to see the deliciousness inside. Reservations have been filling up quickly, so I hope you are able to join us!

We have decided to add a bonus to those who join us for Lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00am until 2:00pm! Beginning Tuesday, February 5th, when you purchase one of our Lunch Entrees, you will receive a complimentary glass of wine. You can choose from a Sparkling Brut, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Rosé, Pinot Noir, or Cabernet Sauvignon. Or, for those of you who prefer beer, we will have some options available for you.

On Friday, February 8th I am teaming up with a few other great local Chefs to participate in “Goes Gourmet”. This is a fundraiser for the MESS Hall and will highlight the science behind original menu creations. I am pumped and ready for an entertaining (and delicious) science adventure!

Don’t forget we always dry age all of our own beef from zero days all the way up to 28 - 35 days. We currently have a few wonderful 35 day tomahawk ribeyes that serves two people. This meat is beautiful, certified Angus Beef that is extremely well marbled with a deep concentrated beef flavor that has an impeccable age on it. This Tomahawk for two is an amazing deal for only $95. This kind of steak goes for about $175 in bigger cities, and you will not find this for less than $100 anywhere else!
