October 2019

Hey guys, it’s Chef Josh here! We’ve got a lot of cool stuff happening in October. I’ve got a couple new desserts that we're debuting at the beginning of the month: an Apple Creme Brulee and a Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake! YUM!

We also recently began a new promotion - it’s a Wednesday night dinner special called “Prime Rib and Rye.” Each week we will be featuring a 12 oz Rye Soaked Certified Black Angus Prime Rib with Loaded Baked Potato, Au Jus and Atomic Horseradish Cream, paired with 1 ½ ounce pour of Whistlepig PiggyBack Rye (aged 6 years). Available in the Downstairs Dining Room for $39. Make your reservation now - it’s a beautiful piece of meat for a great price. You can't beat it!

We've got plenty more events coming up this month as well! We are kicking off October with the Seville Rotary Club’s 9th Annual Arrogant Steak Cook-off. I will not be competing in the cook-off as I cannot use my beef, however, we will be offering a little taste of that wonderful dry-aged, Certified Angus Beef right in front of The District. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Don’t forget about our weekly lounge special, “Flights and Bites,” happening every Thursday night in the Upstairs Lounge from 5-7pm. It’s a steal! You get three beautiful little bites that I create each week and they're paired with three glasses of wine for $20.

Be sure to look out for us on October 11th - I'll be at WSRE’s 31st Annual Wine & Food Classic. Local chefs are the stars of this annual walkabout tasting that supports the public television programs and educational services of WSRE.

Also stay tuned for our special event that we’ve got in the works for Halloween this year. You won’t want to miss! Details to follow.

Looking towards November - we’ve got the Wine & Food Festival at Seville Quarter, where we'll be doing our delicious French Onion Soup. Be sure to stop by!
